Washington, D.C. – The National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, D.C. has announced today that Scott Whitsitt, CEO of One-to-One Service.com, is a recipient of the N.R.C.C. National Leadership Award given to small business owners. Mr. Whitsitt has also been named as Chairman of the Business Advisory Council for the state of Illinois where he is expected to play a crucial role in the Republican Party's efforts to involve top business people in the process of government reform. The Business Advisory Council is dedicated to making sure that small business has a voice in Washington. Mr. Whitsitt will be a valuable resource as the NRCC addresses important issues such as reducing the national debt, simplifying the tax code, cutting wasteful government spending, and eliminating government regulation in business.
Members of the Business Advisory Council are selected after an exhaustive search of key business leaders throughout the country. The NRCC is constantly recruiting new members to give fresh ideas to their committee. Attributes of potential appointees to the Business Advisory Council includes the following:

* Ability to display leadership skills in managing a business

As Chairman, Mr. Whitsitt will play an important role in political strategy meetings with Republican Party Congressional Leaders and key members of the Bush Administration.
