About Us—Anti-SPAM PolicyUsers of the iService OnDemand system are prohibited from sending SPAM, or unsolicited commercial email, through the iService system. The federal anti-spam law went into effect on January 1st, 2004 and preempts all state laws. The law is specific about requirements to send commercial email and empowers the federal government to enforce the law. It is the responsibility of iService OnDemand users to ensure compliance with the provisions and requirements of all applicable laws, which include the following:
Anti-Spam FeaturesUnsubscribe Links – iService provides an instant unsubscribe link that will immediately remove a contact from their mailing list, and add them into an Opt-Out list preventing further email from that list. Subscriber List Management – The iService My Account page includes a Subscriptions tab that allows contacts to manage their list subscriptions. This page includes all publicly available lists on which the contact is subscribed. SPF Records – All iService OnDemand users must set their company’s SPF records to take responsibility for email delivered by One-to-One Service.com on their behalf. Mailbox “From” and “Reply-to” Address – All customers must use reply-to addresses that are owned by their organization. If you believe you have received unsolicited commercial email from an iService OnDemand user, notify One-to-One Service.com, Inc. immediately at abuse@1to1service.com. Please include the following in your notification.
You will receive an automated response from us when we receive your notification, and you will receive a personal email from us when we complete our investigation. Violation of this Policy and BlacklistingAbuse of the iService OnDemand system may result in the IP addresses of the email servers used by iService OnDemand appearing on blacklists. These lists are used by anti-spam services to identify sources of unsolicited commercial email, and may result in the inability to deliver legitimate email to your contacts. We monitor these blacklists for our IP addresses, and in the event our servers are added we investigate the reasons why. If our IP addresses are blocked as a result of email sent by an iService OnDemand user, that user’s right to use the iService OnDemand system may be immediately restricted. |
